OUR TUTORS/STUDENTS

Adele (Director)

After my graduation from Stellenbosch University, where I received a Degree in English and Drama, I completed a TEFL Course and received an internationally recognized certificate in teaching English as a Foreign Language. I then went on to live and work in England and Scotland for 2 years, where I gained valuable experience in teaching English as a foreign and second language.

My next destination was Japan, where I spent 2 years, enjoying teaching both adults and children. This experience has always stayed with me and also taught me so much about different cultures.

Since returning to South Africa 10 years ago, I’ve been working with students of all ages and from all over the world, been organizing summer and winter schools, and doing some (online content) editing work. During the past 3 years, I also travelled to Angola a number of times. There I was involved in an English training programme for managers, employees and scholarship students of various oil companies.

I’m looking forward to assisting you with a suitable language course and tutor!

Gavin (Language Tuition)

Most of my working career has been involved
with education and language teaching specifically. For many years I taught English, French and Drama, moving on to a short period in editing and then onto a lengthly time as a publisher of English language course books.

I live in the picturesque and quaint, historical area of de Waterkant, on the slopes of Signal Hill, between Table Mountain and the nearby Waterfront - a perfect location for English language teaching and learning, as well as language tourism in the diverse and rich cultural city of Cape Town.

I really look forward to meeting you!
